produced compressor disks, nozzles, turbine wheels, drive shafts, torque rings, combustion liners and casings for other engine builders.
These are complex components, constantly improved and delivered more quickly,
at a competitive cost, from Orenda. Conventional or advanced materials are worked on computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines to produce
components as large as 10 feet in diameter. Combine this with the capabilities of our other business units, and Orenda becomes an extremely cost-effective partner
in the design and manufacture of your turbine engines.Orenda's manufacturing activity is organized into flowline 'cells', to significantly
reduce cycle times, and to improve quality and customer support. We continuously invest in capital equipment to maintain our leadership position in the industry, and
to enable us to provide quality and tolerances that meet, and often exceed, customer specifications. Over the past 10 years, Orenda has supplied more than 200,000 individual
components to OEMs as well as civil, military and industrial end-users. Orenda, today, is ready to share in the design and production of new gas turbine engines -
in fact, we specialize in static and dynamic components; fan sections or hot sections; powerplant assembly and complete overhaul and testing.
