The technical capability of Magellan's Advanced Materials and Energy Systems (AMES) business unit is focused towards
the development and application of innovative methods for advanced manufacturing, repair and re-manufacturing of gas turbine engine components. Through extensive research and testing, AMES has
developed an expertise in the development, qualification and implementation of gas turbine component repairs and design upgrades to aero, turbo shaft and industrial engines. Key to developing a
repair process is to determine the life limiting failure mechanism(s) and identify the appropriate repair/upgrade process(es). Below is a list of such processes that have been developed by the
